    Pixies - Alec Eiffel

From their 1991 album "Trompe le Monde", released on 4AD Records.
Song referencing Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, the architect of the Paris Eiffel tower.
The song is about people trying to bring down others and their ideas. Eiffel was thought to be crazy in his times for aiming to build such a tower.

    "Pioneer of aerodynamics
    (Little Eiffel, little Eiffel)
They thought he was real smart Alec
    (Little Eiffel, little Eiffel)
He thought big, they called it a phallic
    (Little Eiffel, little Eiffel)
They didn't know he was panoramic"
