I purchased a VPI Scout Turntable from Acoustic Sounds around ten years ago by phone and had it delivered
to my home Kansas City. I needed to travel to NY around a month later out of KCI airport. I purchased a magazine
called Spin before I got on the flight so I would have something to read.

There was a young couple siting next to me on the flight to NY and the lady notice the magazine I was reading and
asked where I got it. We started to talk a little bit and as it turned out, it was Chad Kassem and his wife. He remembered
having sold me the turntable a month before, they were very nice people. I met him one more time a few years later at one
of his Blues Maters concerts in Salina KS, it was a great show and Chad still remembered that day we met on the plane.
My only regret was not getting to see his showroom in Salina because I got there late the day of the concert.
