Great drummer. Played with the Plugz, Cruzados, Social Disortion, Izzy Stradlin and Bob Dylan among others.

Thank you for this thread. A great musician with technic, style and a very special good taste for music. His work with Agent Orange then Social Distortion are my favorites but he was great in everything he did.

 

Great drummer. He will be missed.

 

I saw him in August of 1992 with Bob Dylan, eight years after appearing with Dylan on Letterman. Had that Cruzados record. RIP.

Sorry to hear this. Loved the Cruzados before Arista ruined them with bad production.

 

The title refers to "mysterious circumstances" but there's nothing about that in the text.

Got a uneasy feeling it was self-inflicted, judging by the reporting, which stated he was in a bad mental state.

 

A great drummer with an amazingly diverse resume. Hard to think of any musician who played a with a wider variety of artists/styles.

Saw him with Social D and this is the kick in the pants I need to collect more Plugz and related ephemera. I have the Repo Man soundtrack and some rips of their singles but none of the full lengths. He was definitely a great drummer.

I'm not familiar with his name but I've definitely heard him and have seen him perform. Sad news.

 

I love his playing on the Izzy and the Ju Ju Hounds record. It's too bad that band didn't stay together longer. They were really great.
