  2. I literally asked for the Men at Work blu-ray for Christmas the week before this scandal broke. Awkward. Also: isn't "bad clams" industry jargon for certain things?

Disagree most vehemently. I'd suggest that the majority don't have anything in their past that could be called a "skeleton in the closet" (U.S. usage.) Sure, most people have regrets, but a SITC is, IMO, an intentional, unatoned bad act that caused serious long-term harm, physically or psychologically, to another person, or an undetected crime.

Dumping Susie for Linda the day before the prom doesn't qualify.

It's called disclosure. Not doing it is not an option.

Correct. But full disclosure is prerequisite to deciding.

Because they want what they want, and no one else has a right to their own options?

No, because some people will treat them like lepers out of ignorance. I replied to a post about "not touching" someone with HIV.

Playing with terminology here. Try somewhere between. And yes, I think most people have something their cupboard/closet we wouldn't rapidly admit to in a hurry.

My point was the haste in which people judge when they're maybe not in a position to. The rest is semantics.

Sure. That wasn't my point though.

Yes, and most of us knew that "touching" was meant figuratively. Someone who hides such a condition from a potential sex partner is a bad person. They don't have to tell the world, but they have to tell potential partners, and early on.

That's my opinion, pretty clearly labeled as such, and pretty firm.

Sheen made $1.8m per episode on 2.5 and in theory had no reason to work again. He then did 100 episodes of Anger management which would have paid well.

Number of sexual partners is no formula for HIV exposure. Plenty of stars in the public eye have been as promiscuous as Charlie.

Charlie look surprisingly well in the Lauer interview for a 50 year old in the middle of a blackmail scandal.

Not 100% protective. Latex or the newer synthetics would be the way to go.

Let's have a little light moment on this thread

The Hellboys - Charlie Sheen song from 2005

Interestingly, the bass player is Adam Jodorowsky son of the great writer director (left on the video)
