So i was looking at prices for the Ortofon 2m bronze cartridge and almost everywhere has $440 for the price, except LP Gear who lists it as $369. Ive read a few threads about them on here but im wondering if the savings come with any sort of risk. It sounds all would be fine as long as i dont need to call customer service im guessing.

It looks like it's just a sale price. That happens sometimes.

Their regular price is 389. Even what they list for retail price is still 20 dollars cheaper than the $440 on every other website.

I can only hope the deal lasts for a while...

The entire 2m line had a price hike at some point. The Bronze hasn't always been $440.

You hear some complaints about service, but that is usually that they can be slow to ship. My guess is that the competitive prices are part of a business strategy for a company with very few employees. I suspect you have an individual or individuals who have some connections and buy quantity at good prices. You will find they are very competitive on some brands and not so much on others. Good deals seem to come and go. I've purchased several cartridges from them over the years and all were fine and at good prices. I believe the company has an LPTunes site as well as Elex Atelier.

I bought my MLa there years ago and they beat everybody's price. It came to me just fine.

I could be wrong, but I think they are not an authorized Ortofon dealer, so no warranty would apply to a purchase.

Analogue seduction in the uk. They are an authorized dealer. Even dealers that are not its not much different than buying used.
