Myke Trying Not To Spook The Horse

I remembered as it was one of my last posts before going off to sleep for 12 hours. Exciting news, on the heels of the documentary finally being released.
Terry and I came from the same neighborhood, and attended the same schools. A fan since 1967.

Agreed. That 1975 set was a huge disappointment.

I like a lot of the performances in that set, but the sound is not great. A good system helps clarify the murk some. Still, a disappointment. I wonder what happened. Andrew Sandoval mixed it and Charles Benson mastered it.

Sounds exciting! And I just started listening to Chicago two weeks ago! Love this band already.

Let me guess this will be an Oct/Nov 2018 release for the Christmas shopping season.

I hope some the 1970 Tanglewood performances will be included?

This could be anywhere from great to horrible. I know, I know... but it's true.

    I am guessing one live disc from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00's?

I'm not looking forward to a set with the 80's,90's etc. I did not think there was any chance the current leadership of the band would put out a live set from just the 60's or 70's of
the original band. With the other years being included it's just going to inflate the price to get what we really want to hear.

I'll also echo other posts in saying that I sure hope this sounds better than the 1975 release.
Let's face it Chicago and Rhino as a whole do not have a good track record as far as sound goes.

Disc 5 look interesting. I notice Anyway You Want, Hope For Love & Once Or Twice coming from a show with Terry Kath. I can't say for sure but did the post Kath & Cetera
band ever do those tracks live? I also see Little One on disc 4....would be nice to get a live version of that.
If that last disc is from the Kath era it looks like only part of disc 3 would be post Terry Kath.... here's to that possibility!

Disc 5 has so many more songs than the others that I'm wondering if it's a DVD (meaning VIDEO.) Anyone know?

After looking at that disc again I thought that also....looks like way to many to be audio tracks. Some of those are long tracks.Good point williamjoel

Gotta be footage on the final disc. Could discs 1 and 2 be one entire early performance? Isle of Wight?

Disc 5 is a DVD of a Rockpalast appearance from February 1977, with a bonus from Chicago in the Rockies tv special.
