It sure worked perfectly! Especially when they traded off during songs and the contrast made the songs much more texturally interesting, like In The Country.
Me too... at the time I thought it was Robert Lamm with an effect on his voice. I don't think the album had credits on a song by song basis on VI...
Other songs that demonstrate the distinctive voices of their lead singers: I'm a Man Dialogue Part I and Part II Brand New Love Affair Part 1 and 2
One of my favorite Chicago album covers - the cardinal bird on Chicago VIII (1975) featuring "Old Days" and "Harry Truman." The album topped the album chart for two weeks. Cover Design – John Berg, Nick Fasciano

Need some help in Barnes and Noble today I saw Chicago II remastered by Steve Wilson on vinyl and had a sticker that said “Barnes and Noble Exclusive” and said nothing else or no other markings other than remastered by....what is the exclusive part ?
My copy has two stickers. A red sticker that says "Chicago 50th 1967-2017....Chicago is the pre-eminent masterpiece - Steven Wilson" ...... etc. A gray sticker saying "Barnes & Noble Exclusive Edition."
Not sure if this has been posted but this is a new 5 disc set of live recordings including Isle of Wright coming at the end of March. Chicago VI Decades Live Set Coming - Best Classic Bands
LAUDIR de OLIVEIRA (c1973) with Sergio Mendes & Brasil '77 before joining CHICAGO in mid 70's. Note: The number "'77" in the band's name has nothing to do with the year 1977. It was used to differentiate it from Sergio Mendes' earlier group, the "Brasil '66" which was popularly known for the hit single "Mas que nada" and the cover version of Bacharach tune "The Look of Love."
Picked up Chicago IV live set on vinyl original with all the original posters at a flea market in great condition fo $8.00 unbelievable
A great collection from the first 3 albums, and great energy. I like the comments to the crowd from Terry, Robert and Jimmy. Especially when it sounds like Jimmy says, "It's really a gas to be here!" Some of the standout tracks for me, on this performance are, Introduction, Sing A Mean Tune Kid, Flight 602, Motorboat to Mars, Free, Happy 'Cause I'm Going Home, Free Form Piano Intro DARKWTII?, Where Do We Go From Here?, Fancy Colours, Mother, and A Song for Richard and His Friends.
This weekend I also picked up Chicago Transit Authority vinyl 1-A stampers all four sides original and I got to say this vinyl sounds great vinyl is in VG+ but the jacket has done the job protecting the vinyl it’s well worn
I could be wrong, but I think Terry Kath was the only guitarist that Jimi Hendrix said was better than he was. I love all those 70's Chicago records, and I am hit or miss with their 80's output. I enjoy 16 and 18, but not 17 so much. Gave that one away.
