I love the Winnie The Pooh books by A.A Milne (they're funny, clever, and heartwarming) so my fingers are crossed that this will be really good.

I haven't seen it but I've heard good things about it. What did you think of it?

This movie isn’t about the creation of Winnie the Pooh; it’s a Winnie the Pooh-meets-Hook story with an adult, workaholic Christopher Robin suddenly reunited with his childhood friends from the Hundred Acre Wood.

Last year’s Goodbye Christopher Robin is about the creation of Pooh:

I must've had a rumbly in my tummy distracting me. :)

I'm impressed with how the CGI Pooh looks. You just know they're going to make some great plush toys out of it (and the other characters too, I assume).

Looking forward to this. My inner child has been awakened. I sent a link to my wife and daughter and they loved the trailer.

If you've seen the Disney animated movie(s) but have never read the two books, I'd highly recommend them (even if you don't have kids to read them to). :)

I have them both as eBooks, and read chapters from them at bedtime to my kid. Very enjoyable for both kids and adults.

Would like to see Disney mix Pooh with Star Wars!

This should this be something in the vein of Saving Mr Banks. Maybe about the creation of the Winnie The Pooh, his origin and intent (a little biased on my part).

That would certainly capture my fantasy. Guess I'll watch and see.

Gee, you know, I thought that looked very charming. This is the toughest kind of movie to pull off: whimsey. It's very easy for that kind of thing to go right off the rails, but it looks like they made an effort. By god, the character voices were very good.

"Paddington" and "Paddington 2" did it brilliantly. When we took our daughter to "Paddington 2" I had to fight back tears because of how genuinely sincere, sweet and whimsical the whole thing was. It was like a 90 minute warm hug. *sniffle*.

This looks fantastic. Can't wait to take our daughter.

I really need to see those Padington movies. There's a third one coming out sometime in the next few years by the way. Stock up on tissues. :)
