I have a couple of LP sleeves where the lamination has bubbled up away from the actual sleeve. One it around 5 inches long caused I suspect by someone accidentally bending the sleeve slightly as it goes from the outside right toward the middle. Has anyone found a way of repairing something like this as the rest of the sleeve which is about 50 years old looks very good. Someone suggest making a very fine cut in the middle to get the trapped air out and then cover the area with a cloth and using a warm iron across to try and reseal.
I haven't tried this, but maybe a small pinhole, then hot air blown from a hair dryer might make it look better. If you have any success, let us know your method. Good luck.
I wouldn't recommend this - it would probably only cause further damage. A hair dryer sounds a lot less dangerous suggestion.
