    HAHA, GREAT!
I can get it for peanuz at my local store.
I have had mixed experiences with Naxos stuff, mostly because their resident pianist bores the hell out of me, but if you recommend it, I'll happily shell out some dough :)

    I don't know either, sadly.
Didn't Elgar write some bad weather music too?

    Daz not too weird, methinks.
They probably have reasons because of which they want to sell that on eBay or viceversa, it would be interesting to see which kind of a deal they have signed with each marketplace, ie maybe they are charged a premium if they go sold out with an item.

    Natuerlich, I couldn't agree more.
But on the other hand, I think that having someone to refer to can give the beginner a comfort zone to avoid the Liberaces :D.

At least on Candybay.co.uk MM have a deal that allows for cheaper deals so with MM you always check.

They probably have a script on Amazon that automatically sets the price.

I put some faith that we're getting the box because the UPC matches and the auction pages says it comes with 9 discs.

Zoverstocks does the same thing on play.com, they have (or used to have) a script which lowers the price so that it's always the lowest price on the marketplace.

They probably changed things a bit once someone found out and took advantage.

I checked the UPC on my copy here at home last night and it is different than the one on ebay.

The UPC on my copy reads 55 991814 100329

The UPC on the ebay copy reads 675754472122

However, the catalog number on each is the same and both are 9 CDs. Also, same cover and same company. I still think things look pretty good for us.

Is that why he stopped at 12 Tone?

'Zactly, that whimp—give me a three-fisted composer like Harry Partch, didn't let no silly thirteenth step get in his way of totally unraveling tonality as we knew it!

Not sure how common it is to dispense with the 13th floor, but the building I work in has one. But that's not the floor I work on, so I'm safe!

    Anyway, now playing:

LISZT - Les Préludes; Danse Macabre, Fantasie Hongroise Pour Piano et Orchestre; Mephisto Valse
Jean-Claude Casadesus, Orchestre Symphonique de Radio-Télé-Luxembourg
    France Clidat, Piano

    CD (Forlane UCD 16516)

This is another one of my earliest Classical CD purchases and I love it to death!

  19. I still have to get this one.

The 675754472122 number matches the UPC shown on various web sites, though.

I got an email from MM saying it was temporarily delayed and they expect to ship within 1-3 days.

I haven't got an email yet, but a buddy on another board also got the same one you got. Did you order yesterday before posting, or over the weekend.
