This is probably the start of a new series from Chandos. I liked it. Jean-Efflam Bavouzet Manchester Camerata Gabor Takacs-Nagy Mozart
From my stash on the Eloquence label from Australia. A very nice Alborado and Valse. Seiji Ozawa Boston Symphony Orchestra Ravel Eloquence, 2006
Smetana Trio Bohuslav Martinu: The Complete Piano Trios Supraphon, 2017 A very enjoyable disc. The new kid in the trio is Jiri Vodicka, the Concertmaster of the Czech Philharmonic.
The title is a bit of misnomer since only two of the pieces are chaconnes, but it's a wonderful recording, full of virtuoso playing and fine musicianship. The sound is good if a bit distant/reverberant.
I just ordered 3 more of Analogue Productions classical SACDs. I own 16 of them so far and love the sound, to my ears they easily beat the older Living Stereo SACDs although they probably should at about double the price. The ones I ordered today are Strauss Till Eulenspiegel and Death and Transfiguation by Reiner and the Vienna Philharmonic, "Venice" by Solti, and "Festival" by Reiner and the Chicago Symphony. All early RCA and Decca stereo recordings.
I'm not disagreeing with you at all since I haven't heard these new AP remasters, but the original Sacd releases, and the first Living Stereo CD box set, were from SoundMirror and they are one of the best recording companies in the U.S.. The Analog Productions release of Lt. Kije has been on my want list for a while but at $30 a pop, I'm still talking myself into it. I have this Sacd of Lt. Kije which is a Quad recording from the late 1970's.
I have the Analogue Productions Lt. Kije SACD you mention and it is one of my favorites. However I'm sure your Mobile Fidelity copy is no slouch either. As for the $30 price, I bought mine from Music Direct who have a 20% discount and free shipping, so I don't feel quite as bad paying $24 per disc!
Granados : Liliana; Suite Oriental; Elisenda Pablo Gonzalez Barcelona Symphony Orchestra Naxos, 2016 Enjoyable, but nothing major.
Peter Katin Chopin: Nocturnes IMP, 2011 2 discs He has excellent timing. Evidently these recordings were originally on Decca. Here is a photo of the London cover. This IMP reprint has some low level sounds occasionally in the background. I don't know if they are on the original Decca.

I have this CD twofer but still have not decided where this version stands among the dozen versions I already have ...
Trivia time: Hershey Kay conducted the string orchestra on the famous Stan Getz album 'Focus', music written & arranged by Eddie Sauter.
I've been making my way through Davis's big RCA box. The more I listen to these performances the more I like them. Plus everything is very well recorded. Tonight it's Verdi's Falstaff. photo uploading
Seconded. IMO Stravinsky's own stereo version has never been bettered for its combination of idiomatic panache and nervous excitement.
There are some nice things on here, while I may not agree about every interpretation, I am going to listen again. Besides the Preludes, there are 5 Mazurkas and 2 Nocturnes. Ingrid Fliter Chopin: Preludes Linn, 2014
