Cleopatra Movie soundtrack

Last night I listened to the original stereo vinyl of the Cleopatra movie soundtrack and it is one of the best sounding LPs I have in my collection and I have a VG+ copy of it. M- visually, but beginning surface noise that I heard with my Shure M97xE was easily cleaned up with liquid and my brushes. After cleaning it up and enjoying it, what I heard was sonic heaven and a great LP to test your equipment with. I haven't heard the Varese Sarabande CD reissue of it but I would hope that it is well done as well, and maybe it isn't, I have no knowledge, but the original LP is extremely well cut and the Alex North score is great. BTW, do not get any of the budget label versions of the soundtrack, only get the 20th Century Fox LP actually conducted by Alex North himself.
