Roulette RE-128 LP Locking Horns has Coltrane and Ray Draper on tuba "locking horns". Great jazz indeed! Sides 3 and 4 have this Colrane/Draper jamming. Wonder why more great jazz combos of the 60's NOT use one in the band? I can't think of any. The tuba seems to me to add a layer of "being there" to the recording. It is low and deep yet is upbeat. At least in this recording.
