Will the quality still be ok? Say I converted to v0 mp3 files, would it sound as good as a CD ripped to v0 mp3?

Wav should be identical in sound. Mp3 uses compression and adds noise. I think the best fidelity you can get from mp3 is 32okbit at 16bit resolution. Which has an upper frequency range limit of 18khz or something. According to the Nyquist Theorem that puts the best mp3 at 36khz, CD audio is 44khz. AAC has double the sampling rates as mp3 and to my ears in the files I heard sounded close to lossless. If file size is not an issue Wav, Flac, and ALAC are the way to go.

Should sound fine as long as you use a good resampler. I recommend SoX and foobar2000.
