Could MCA reissue Steve's Who's Next again prehaps on SACD

I think Gregg raises a good question. Lets forget about The Who just for a moment and 5.1 for that matter.

Is there remastering that has to go on to get something onto SACD stereo?

Thats the simplest way in putting it. Pardon my ignorance if this is a stupid question. I guess there must be since Steve did the CCR stuff on gold and now it will come out on SACD there must have been some extra work involved.

My original comments with The Who were purely asking the question, "Could?"

 

Maybe someone has a link they could post here to a store selling the CD that uses Steve's master, which goes directly to the page where this correct version is for sale? I (and I suspect others without this disc) don't want to get the wrong version.

Check in the discography section. The correct catalogue numbers are there for the Canadian Who issues.
