Could "Midnight Cowboy" possibly be the best downer depressing movie ever?

    In honor of Monday, a couple of excellent "workplace from hell" films. The latter is actually a comedy, but an extremely dark one, and certainly doesn't end on anything like a happy note.

    In the Company of Men (Neil LaBute, 1997)
    Clockwatchers (Jill Sprecher, 1997)

    And I don't believe anyone has mentioned Paths of Glory yet!
