Could this closet do a decent vocal booth?

So I'm moving out soon into an appartement. The closet is quite big and I'm thinking about buying acoustic foam and blankets and turning it into a vocal booth for rap vocals. There's enough space for me to get in and close the doors, but I'd be more comfortable if the doors were open. I could set up a big pannel behind me with an acoustic blanket and some foam. Thoughts?

What is the ambient noise of that space as I see your hot water heater close by?

I ask is that I often use one of my Rode NT-1As for vocal practice and it has a self noise of only 5db and being a large diaphragm mic it picks up everything.

It's not noisy at all. There are neighbors on the same floor but not directly behind that closet. There's a hallway behind the closet.
