Go to YouTube, search for Record Ripoff, and hear the worst Bob Dylan cover extant. These records are so bad, they're almost good.

Most Dylan fans know that in 1959, he briefly played piano for Bobby Vee, who had at that time started his music career with his own band at the age of 15. Bobby does a slowed down reinvented version of The Man In Me, which was recorded live in his garage with his 3 sons in 2011. Very heartfelt, the song was released on his final album, The Adobe Sessions, in early 2014. This is a video showing much of the recording. Bobby retired from music in 2011 due to developing Alzheimer's disease.

This is the song that initially turned me onto the Walker Brothers, even though it is very much not their style...

One of the most eccentric Dylan covers I've ever heard was this one by Dave Stewart (the one from National Health, Egg and Hatfield and the North) and Barbara Gaskin of Subterranean Homesick Blues:

Dave and Barb have been making "Pop music for grown-ups" for a while - basically Pop played with Prog chops.

Back around 2010 Uncut Magazine had CD tribute to Dylan and contained this gem by Paul Westerberg.

This predates Them's better-known version by about a year
