Saw this last night. I didn't think it could possibly be as good as reviews are making it sound. It is.

Saw this in the Tuesday last night. By far, my favorite part of the movie was the interaction between Rocky and Drago. I thought the concept really worked well as a sequel to Rocky 4. Highly recommend.

I saw this today, was happy with it and glad I saw it at the theater instead of waiting for DVD or streaming.

Your reviews are encouraging. Creed was a pleasant surprise. I hope they didn't throw in the towel (haha) for this one.

Saw it yesterday and loved it.

Drogo and Rocky both were very good. They should do a movie together.

Definitely. And hopefully Stallone and Dolph will make more Expendables films as well.

Enjoyed the movie, all except the pervasive rap garbage that proliferates it.

The main characters are black, and this is set in present day. You were expecting Survivor?

Saw it. Loved it. Yes, a notch down from Creed, maybe. But I'm in for any and all Rocky-related sequels. Special place in my heart, for various reasons.

Maybe he was hoping for another apperance of Frank Stallone doing “take me back”?

I told my friend about the music and she was going to take her son but decided to go see another movie instead. Nice try but there are other forms of black music, soul, r&b, etc. which are not off putting.

Seems a bit extreme to give it a miss just because of the soundtrack. Personally I found it like wallpaper

  18. Same here. I went to see Creed, not knowing it was related to Rocky (I have only seen one) and it was an excellent film. Creed II, I expected would be hard to top Creed, and it wasn't, but it was a good film. Some of the action shots really make you feel the intensity of actually being the boxer.

Was there a lot of rap on the soundtrack? I didn't even notice.

The musical moment in the movie I did find a bit goofy was Bianca singing Adonis into the arena for the big fight.

I do wonder..if Sylvester Stallone has decided he no longer wants to participate in the Rocky series will it continue without him?

I thought this was pretty awespme. I'm very impressed at how they managed to give layers to previously cartoonish bad guy Ivan Drago, and Dolph Lundgren's performance is great.

Naturally, I assumed they would've utilized some Frank Stallone compositions for this film.
