    Hi all

Next year it will be 50 years since Creedence Clearwater Revival released their first album, in 28 may

I do believe they're the greatest band ever coming from USA, and we should have some great things from them

So, what would you love to have?
    (everything's allowed, we can dream!)

    Enjoy

I loved Creedence since I was in high school....but...and I say this even as a fan....nothing!!! Something's should be left as they are.

  3. I don't know. Suzie Q (LP Version) is the only thing out of the hits era I'm not completely over. The last couple albums and the live one (as the trio) are my bag. I guess anything from then, but I guess I should just be grateful they are commercially available.

a reunion with a new album, with a rhythm guitarist who plays in Tommy's clean uncluttered style. If the album's good, then a tour. I think Fogerty's muse (or creative calculations or better instincts) were inexcorably linked to those 3 other guys. His solo career has been one long example of treading (and retreading) water; the three nominal high points 40 some years being pretending he was the Blue Ridge Rangers, a mildly enjoyable solo (or second solo after BRR) album, and the overrated 'Centerfield'.

Still don't know what to make of 'Eye of the Zombie'.

    Here's my list folks

1- Creedence Clearwater Revival: 2 DVD/ Blu Ray full of all their promo films, TV appearances, live performances, rehearsals, etc
I even created a thread about it

Creedence Clearwater Revival - The comprehensive footage 1968 - 1972

2- The remixed albums in stereo and 5.1. CD/Blu Ray or CD/DVD set each. Incl. single mono mixes. Quad mixes. Including 'Live at Royal Albert Hall', 'Chronicle Vol1' and 'Chronicle Vol2'. Of course, with FULL DYNAMIC RANGE INTACT (the 40th anniversary remasters were really compressed and eq'd all over)

3- Creedence Anthology Book. Pretty much a la Beatles Anthology and Chronology mixed in one great cohomprensive book. Full of rare photos, memorabilia, essays, intreviews, gear used, studios, live moments, etc

4- The Creedence Clearwater Revival Sonbook. Fully authorized, including each song from their catalog with lyrics and accurate chords, licks and riffs

Studio outtakes-especially of Willy and Cosmo's. They say all the outtake tapes of every CCR session got destroyed in some sort of infernal incident...I'd love for this to not be true. Imagine working takes of Fortunate Son, Ramble Tamble, Effigy and so on. Truly a fan's dream. At least, one of mine.

    Nothing. I have

CCR Complete Studio Box with live and some early stuff.
Stand alone 40th Anniversary CD of Cosmo's Factory with bonus tracks.
Most of the Studio Albums on vinyl.
    Some Woodstock video.

    That's enough for me.

John Fogerty may be able to make $10mil off a single reunion show, including later releases depending on how things are negotiated.

Some live stuff that maybe in the vaults would suit me just fine.

As much as I would love to see something special released as a result of the anniversary, I am under the impression that Fogerty pretty much put out all that he was going to allow with the bonus tracks on the CCR remasters from 2008. If we should get something in 2018, then I would consider it a miracle.

I viewed it as Fogerty trading approval on a handful of bonus tracks and the Woodstock clips in exchange for having some of his publishing re-instated. The Revival album one-off deal was in there somewhere.

In his autobiography Fogerty states that few outtakes remained in the vaults and that he was utterly opposed to releasing any of this material. he was unhappy with the few that made it onto the remasters.

A remastered reissue of "Chronicle" would be a smart move.
