    True dat. I haven't had enough coffee yet to just list the NY LP's I have as I have multiple pressings of most lol. Also, multiple versions across CD formats. What can I say - NY is my fav artist lol. Also lots of CSNY as well but no CSN.

    For a record that is not praised, I’m surprised that “Looking Forward” by Crosby Stills Nash and Young can be priced so high, on vinyl...

    Because it's a German import. The LP was never pressed for the U.S. market.

    I'm having a hard time trying to identify the exact version I have of the S/T CSN. The catalog number is Atlantic SD-8229, but the runout etching on side two is ST-A-691575=BEEE-1, and I can't find that exact match anywhere on Discogs. It is a gatefold, and has lyric sleeve, but I don't see a date on the album or jacket anywhere at all. Would appreciate some help on this. Thanks.

    CSN=loved
    DejaVu=loved
    4 Way Street=was ok
    CSNY/So Far=loved
    Stephen Still/Stills=loved
    Neil Young/All his early records up through Harvest=loved
    Graham Nash solo stuff was so so
    David Crosby/If I Could Only Remember My Name=liked but not loved
    CSN reunion album=really liked
    CSN/Replayer=loved

    After that is a case by case basis, Neil Young's Harvest Moon and Freedom are definite winners. I am sure there are other notable records, but I haven't heard them.

    I have it. Paid too much for it. And to make matters worse, it doesn't even sound very good (mastering).

    Paying the standard retail price when the record was just released, was probably too much.

    On vinyl I have American Dream, The Best of Stephen Stills, This Path Tonight and Wild Tales by Graham Nash, David Crosby's EP with the Lighthouse Band, Long May You Run by the Stills-Young Band and a whole bunch of Neil Young LPs.

    My most prized CSN(Y) possession is the excellent 4-CD box set. Did this get a vinyl release, either at the time or subsequently?

    I have CSN self-titled and Deja Vu on vinyl. I listened to both of them this evening for the first time in ages and found I like Deja Vu far better. A few cuts on the self-titled held up but Deja Vu proved, after all this time, to hold up much more strongly for me. A lot has to do with that added "Y" power in CSNY and Crosby letting it all hang out on "Cut My Hair", plus some great guitar work from Stills.

    Crosby's If I could Only Remember My Name from that era holds up big time as well.

    From what I've read here in the SH forums, the Classic 200g vinyl remasters are the best sounding vinyl releases of Crosby, Stills & Nash and Deja Vu. Does anyone know if the Classic remaster was from a digital or analog master? Also I'm wondering how this release sounds by comparison to a first issue 1969/1970 pressing of those two titles.

    same as Lp's Cd's VHS DVD Bluray etc pretty much the lot, cassettes as well, not forgetting the Bootlegs,
    and does a 'Buffalo Springfield' laser engraved Pono player count? etc

    only had to replace one thing I own of Neils that is, 'A Treasure' on DVD
    my dog when she was just a few months old, thought it tasted 'nice and crunchy'
    she wasn't too keen on the cardboard though. That's Staffy's for ya.
