i get in thursday afternoon to see my family and Peter Gabriel with Sting.

My family lives in East Lansing and I typically shop Flat Black and Circular there and a few great Ann Arbor stores

I see Jack White has a store. Anything you would recommend?

    Thanks

This thread has some good information,
CD stores in Detroit, MI »
Third Man is worth seeing, more of a boutique for the label then anything, I don't know if the record presses have arrives and been installed yet.

Besides Dearborn Music, Stormy and Found Sound, there is Streetcorner Music in Oak Park, lots of vinyl, emphasis on Jazz and R%B, with some rock; good prices. Next door is a great book store called Book Beat.
UHF is in Royal Oak, mostly vinyl but a lot of bargin cds.
Peoples Records is mostly vinyl, at least the last time I was in there
    Peoples Records Detroit »
    and Hello Records, mostly vinyl
