Thank goodness for the band, The McCartneys; Ringo, Barb and Nancy- most of the other folks seemed very “zombie,” by nature

 

Yeah some people were too cool for school. I suspect the really bored out of their minds young people were either a) bored out of their minds or b) paid to hang around and look bored.

Prob a bit of both.

 

Is that a right-handed guitar he gets handed and briefly attempts to play upside-down?

 

I think he can get around playing a right handed guitar if memory serves me .

Paul Ringo and Babs had dinner together in a LA restaurant the other night.
Does Ringo live in LA now?

 

Ringo's been living in LA for years, though he also has a place in England, and Monaco.

 

He left his place in Monaco a couple of years ago, but apparently also got a place in Switzerland .

 

I kept reading this and wondering, "Why were Paul and Ringo having dinner with Barbara Streisand?" Then I realized you meant Ringo's wife, Barbara Bach.



Long day.

I didn't even know this was digitally released. Although, I do prefer the old 80's looking clock album cover with no information of the album title or artist on the front.

For what it's worth, I identify with the image of Paul and Linda far more than the image of John and Yoko.

 

They are all pretty good!

 

It was first released on CD (with these 10 tracks) in 2014, as part of his book Guitar With Wings. Nice to see it's more accessible now!

He HAD a place in Beirut. Got it really cheap! At least, that’s what he said in the So Bad video.

Very nice! I think London Town is a very good piece of work that sometimes gets lost in the shuffle.

I'm afraid not, but make all the guesses you like. It's a peripheral connection at best.

Funny thing is I never really looked into who Georgia Brown & Tessie O'Shea really are. For my money, their claim to fame is they were on the Sullivan show the night the Beatles changed the world.
