It still shows a CONCORD logo. Maybe this was a mock-up for someting related to the Pure McCartney compilation from 2 years ago.
I don't know, I kind of liked the idea of getting a compilation with Once Upon a Long ago plus a few other deeper cuts. As well as Bip Bop.
Looks totally bogus. Something about that picture of Paul, even though it's behind shrink wrap, just looks like a very poor resolution and/or bad print job. And obviously the Concord logo doesn't help. It's just people with too much time on their hands.
Another nail in the coffin: The UPC code is all screwy. UPC codes are always 12 digits; this is 13. Plus, they usually seem to be in the format: 1-22222-33333-4. This is 1-222222-333333. Pull out your Paul Concord products and you’ll note the second set of numbers is 88072 (the same for a couple other artists I have on Concord, like Paul Simon, James Hunter, and the reissued Concert for George).

Yes. But it's really Friday, as the show in the USA airs after midnight of Thursday going into Friday.
Ohh: In case anyone is wondering: I got banned (temporarily??) from the main Egypt Station thread here. And I've noticed that some of the other major players in that thread are also missing as of late, so maybe they too also got kicked out. So if there seems to be a lack of participation from some of the usual suspects, that's the reason. Guess we overstepped our limits...
Hmm... I tried to find the White Album anniversary thread and have discovered it's locked down! This is a snippet from the new diy interview: " Then after that we released ‘The White Album’ and completely changed and made something that wasn’t multi-layered and was quite stripped back and of the times. Have you finished preparing the 50th anniversary package of that one yet? It’s all in place, I’ve just got a couple of essays [to approve]. It’s all lined up and it’s really good. ...... The album itself [‘The White Album’] is very cool and it sounds like you’re in the room; that’s the great thing about doing remasters. But we’ve also got some demos of the songs, so you get things stripped right back to just John’s voice and a guitar. You just think, how ****ing good was John?! Amazing. We were just doing it; it was amazing. We were having a good time.
