Nice to see some re-issue love!
Passing however. I'm only a couple singles away from completion :)
+ I have no idea who 3 Loop Music, Ltd is

If these have the same horrible mastering that the "Way Of Curve" 2-cd set has, I'll pass. I have most of this stuff on cd as originally released and it all sounds just fine. The dynamics are intact as well - check out this DR downward spiral :

Album list - Dynamic Range Database

I read on their Facebook page that there wasn't really that much release-worthy live stuff recorded, which is a shame.

Edit - I know that Curve's music isn't exactly The Moody Blues or anything that you'd think that you wouldn't want a lot of dynamic range on, but I like to control the loudness on my stereo, not have it built in to screechy levels so that even at low volumes it sounds clipped.
Those original cd's really do sound fantastic if you have any power/wattage to your system.

I'll probably get the Doppelganger set. Even though I just scored "The Way of Curve" for a good price from someone in the forum.

For what it's worth, from a content perspective I was pretty happy with the reissues they did of the first two Echobelly albums a few years back.

Yeah I was checking out their roster Maurice, some neat stuff. I have 95% of what's on these, their bandcamp has a ton of extra stuff also. So for me it wouldn't be a gain. Some of the tracks being offered were only available on US promo's, so for someone who doesn't want to track them down, these are 'possibly' a good way to grab them. Hopefully they don't destroy the SQ of them :)

I'm hoping for good mastering as well. "The Way of Curve" came out 13 years ago so I am assuming they won't be those remasters

I don't think 3 Loop Remasters the original disc. I could be wrong but I seem to recall on Beth Orton and Echobelly reissues there wasn't any remastering.

I'd rather have had Pubic Fruit on vinyl... that was their peak for me. I guess the 12"s aren't too expensive to collect. Doppelganger was a let down back when it was release, and by Cuckoo their level of media coverage had reduced considerably

The article linked above says "everything has been remastered from the original tapes."

We'll have to see....I'd like to see it from 3 Loop myself but who knows maybe they are doing it this time.

Nice will be getting both. The 90's kicked ass!

Keep in mind The Way of Curve has some exclusives...the extended version of Pink Girl With The Blues, exclusive track In Disguise, and a properly mastered Sinner (which was messed up on The New Adventures of Curve.)

No matter the mastering I'll be picking up the CD's to support Dean & Toni.

Oh, I'm definitely not going to get rid of The Way of Curve. There are some gems on there!

If it's true Dean and Toni supervised these reissues, I'm very surprised. I thought they pretty much despised each other.

Dean posted that he had a tour lined up behind these reissues and she turned it down. I just think she is done with the music business.

Is there any material here that is exclusive to the deluxe editions (at least on CD)? I've got both original albums, plus both Blacker Three Tracker volumes, Pubic Fruit, and The Way of Curve. Just want to see if there's anything I'm missing that would be easier/less expensive to track down on other releases, or if there's some new stuff here.

I think maybe a couple. Most can be found via their bandcamp page or through promo's and singles.
I'd give it a wait however. Appears some issues with these are being reported for the compact discs

Yes. The original versions of Rising and Half The Time, both are fantastic.

Frankly, this is one case of "I don't care"
I'm buying them to support the greatest duo of all time.
