Met her at Beatlefest. A very nice person and the prettiest of all the Beatle wives. RIP

 

RIP, beautiful lady.

 

Seems the Grim Reaper's putting some right overtime in of late. Another sad loss.

 

I don't understand what you're trying to get across, he originally wrote it in tribute to John and for people that have passed on in general.

I picked up her book 'John' just a few weeks ago....now I have to get around to actually reading it.
She seemed like a very nice, down-to-earth person.

 

I guess I assumed the song was only written for her.

 

I just saw this on the Daily Mail website. I think it's a nice picture of the two of them .

I hope Mark Lewisohn was able to interview her about the Beatlemania era and afterwards before she passed. I keep thinking that some key figures are going to be gone by the time the next installment comes along.

Cyn was my favorite Beatle wife or girlfriend.

 

She was a very honorable woman after divorcing one of the most important musicians in history. She didn't seem to carry a grudge.

 

I'd have to say that would be Patti Boyd.

Cynthia sounds like a nice lady, though.

Sad news

 

RIP, Lady Cyn.

She caught the bug before they were rich and famous; there's something to be said for that. She wasn't in it for the money and notoriety - quite the opposite.

 

Sad news. I always thought John Lennon needed better glasses sometimes!

 

I share the mood here. A mournful thing to have a death in Pepperland and a reminder that all these things are passing. Bleh.

I add my condolences to Julian on Cynthia's death. She provided a stabilizing influence on John in the early days and was heroic during the turmoil of John's infidelities and abandonment of her and Julian. Rest in peace Cyn!

If John hadn't thrown her away, she could have been to John what Linda was to Paul. But hey, life's never that simple ...... RIP.
