RIP, Cyn. My thoughts go out to Julian... nothing's sadder than losing someone you love, just makes it worse that it's so close to his birthday.

This is sad news. I started reading her book last week and am finding it very interesting.

    She was a class act.

I've had a few hours since first posting this thread and i keep thinking about something Beatles secretary Freda Kelly said. She said, what good is all that fame and money- it doesn't cure cancer, does it? Maureen, Linda, Cyn, George, Derek, Neil... Sad to see many of this core group hit by the disease- many due to smoking. I hear Cynthia's battle was mercifully short. R.I.P.

At least John married Cyn when he found out he was about to become a father. Right at the same time, he was on the verge of becoming a world phenomenon at a very young age. Is it really necessary to keep insulting John Lennon in order to grieve for Cynthia? I've counted you tossing the chum into the water at least three times so far (and I guess you caught something here).

John married his school girlfriend when she became pregnant, but he was "in love for the first time" and the happiest in his life whilst with Yoko, so I think he ultimately came to know exactly what he needed.

I feel sorry for Cynthia that she suffered for that, but she wouldn't be the first nor last. Life is not always fair, sadly.
    RIP.

She's pretty, but I'm still going with Patti Boyd.

Someone who inspires "Something" and "Layla" definitely has ... something.

The sadness which I felt was completely different from what I feel when a musician leaves us. This , somehow, felt personal in a way... like the loss of a humble, wise, very classy aunt which I'd always hear about but never got to meet. And the beautiful qualities she possessed as a human being she, very obviously, passed along to her son. For that she can be forever proud wherever she may be.

Folks, it's an RIP thread, not a tallest wife, prettiest wife, etc.

    Have some respect, please?

    Thanks
