Does anyone have a D-VHS/D-Theater player and if so what movies would you recommend ? I received a new shiny box today in the shape of a JVC HM-DH30K player which many may take to be an act of madness in that 1) it runs at the wrong voltage 2) it doesn't support PAL our TV standard 3) we have no HDTV broadcasts over here 4) all films must be imported etc.. for quite a long list So far I have ordered Ice Age ( one heck of an animation ) - which movies should be next on the agenda ? I suppose it depends on what kind of movie you like. I think some of their choices have been rather dim, like BIG MOMMA'S HOUSE. Who's dying to see that in HD? I don't know. Myself, I'd probably pick FIGHT CLUB for something heavy and GALAXY QUEST for something light. They're both movies I enjoy. Supposedly VIVID VIDEO is going to be releasing some porn in HD/D-VHS. There may be some things you don't really wanna see in that much detail.
