Very excited for this release. I personally hope D'Angelo is at a place where this won't be catastrophic for him ie pressure etc and return to his demons.
First track is chicken grease like with very Camille )(prince) like vocals. Love the horns.
The live versions of the songs reported to be on the album are really solid.
I will buy this probably in every format.
I also like that the production seems similar to voodoo which IMO is one of the top 10 albums in 25 years.

 

Major Prince vibe...more Prince than Prince is these days! On my 5th replay with more to come...

 

This new track is DOPE! LOVE that guitar! If this is actually out this week, then this is the best Christmas present I could have ever asked for.

Oh wow, I'm really loving this. If "Sugah Daddy" is a harbinger of the rest of the album, I wonder how many other people will be frantically re-writing their best of 2014 lists!
