Happy with art decade, however, would have been happier with fantastic voyage or even move on! Both I think are probably more apt as it was an art 3 years not a decade!
I think Fantastic Voyage is actually the correct answer isn't it? I was just messing around. Is that why @MadamAdam quoted himself with Fantastic Voyage in bold...and a smiley face?
It's not Art Decade, for the reasons you've just surmised. Box 3 goes up to the early 80s so features work from two decades, one art, one (largely) fart
No one here who noticed the weird static going on the 2016 Diamond Dogs remaster during Sweet Thing (starting from 0:36 for around 20 seconds) ? Never heard that on previous masterings.
But which town? Each of the albums included in box 3 were largely recorded in Europe, but the bulk was done in a different country each time, let alone town: Low in France, Heroes in Germany, Lodger in Switzerland and Scary Monsters in Britain (with honourable mentions to the US for the latter pair). Btw, I nicked Art Decade for my own Bowie project many years ago in Record Collector mag. Bowie stopped speaking to me after it. Why? The clue's in the linky Record Collector - November 1999 »
I hope not, as Low was recorded in France, the 1978 Stage live album was recorded in three US states, and it was the same career, not a new one.
that's what I was thinking Reminds me part of the reason I stopped reading that magazine long after 1999 but still many years ago now, was when I started no longer seeing any useful info like that in their reviews at all.
"Subterraneans" is an awesome choice for the next box, and the title of my favorite piece from my favorite Bowie album. And the title suggests the atmosphere of both Low and Heroes, if not Lodger and Scary Monsters.
Amazon UK don't have the vinyl box in stock, they are sourcing supply from mainland Europe to meet demand
Did your impeccable source tell you when it'd be released? (I'm presuming 2017). Give us the first letter of the month.
What is the sound quality like on the vinyl? US or Euro pressing? Hopefully a little bit more livelier and open than the first 5 years of digital Bowie.
I believe that is the market they are going for. People that don't have any original pressings otherwise they will then be disappointed just like the first 5 years.
Sorry but I I'm lost between the pages s, perhaps you will be told. What are the cd box that were already published? Only LIve at Nassau it is the same that was present in deluxe "Station to station"? Thanks to all
