Just listened to the Qobuz 24 bit version of Sky Trails which sounded great to me. I have haven't heard the vinyl version, but was also listening to vinyl of Here if You Listen and it compared favourably to that.

Thanks. My copy of Lighthouse is noisy, too. I'll give it a thorough clean.

Anyone know if the violin part on “Capitol” is Jean-Luc Ponty? Sounds a lot like him.

Yes. My Sky Trails needed cleaned and played.

The RSD live Lighthouse band EP had issues too, until I cleaned it and played it four times. Sounded better every time, almost like some old records that are basically in good condition, but have sat around for a while.

My copy of Croz, on the other hand, was excellent right out of the sleeve. Go figure.

I just heard this today. Sounds very Steely Dan ish at times.

Still Loving this album. It may just be my favorite Croz album.

I'm listening to it for the first time right now, and I'm impressed!
It's wonderful how his voice is still beautiful and the songs are really good.
And the small doses of Steely Dan and ECM Jazz sound-a-like here and there makes it special to me.

Yes, the Steely Dan and Joni Mitchell Hejira era sound of some of the songs is quite welcome.
