I was in Tower Records today in Seattle and found two Roy Orbison's Greatest Hits LPs (415&416). They were sealed in a shrinkwrap like you get Sundazed LPs in, not a loose baggie. Could these be rewraps? The sales people were not much help. I did not see a cut-out mark so I'm wondering if the wrap was different for this title.
All I can say is that some audiophile LPs are wrapped loosely for a purpose. Shrink wrap warps the vinyl over time. Loose sealed wrap is common for import product. Some stores rewrap product if it has been opened to charge a full price. Then there are pirates...
