Ouch! I remember the good ole days (almost 2-3 years ago) when you could find almost every DCC & MFSL old at J&R Music World. Also, Discorama had tons of titles for $17.99 or Buy 2 for $35!

Very interesting ..... CD's of Queen - A Night at the Opera and Bonnie Raitt - Nick of Time are $50 and $65, respectively. Both can be had (in stock) at CD Universe for 28.99.

I have recently found a German website that still has DCC vinyl for 60 to 90 Deutschmark... wait a minute, the site has not been updated since April 2001 :(.

The price still in DM was a bit of a giveaway;).

What? What the heck happened? I just bought one sealed for $30 a few months ago. It can't be that hard to find, especially if you're open to used copies.

I picked up Sinatra's Family Christmas just the other day at Best Buy. Paid $17 for it. I still see DCC titles from time to time. Most often at Media Play. Pickens are gettin' slim though.

Why is the Rafferty so damned expensive? Naturally, I'd like to have it, and it seems as hard if not harder to find affordably as the Ringo and Elvis ones...

I picked up "Night At The Opera" by Queen at Circuit City last summer for regular price, about $25.99. Sealed, obviously. I've seen Steve Miller's "Fly Like An Eagle" used for $15.99 as well as some Metallica golds at Newbury comics here in New England.:p

$199 is crazy, but then again, where else are you going to find a sealed copy of Pet Sounds?

If you can navigate Italian you could try here http://inthenet.sm/audiomarketing/index.htm I have just received 25 CDs and 9 LPs all sealed DCC from this site although the gent that runs Audiomarketing said that some of the titles were the last copy. As the prices were so low I thought it was an artefact but he had a lot in stock. A sealed copy of Pet Sounds was 35 Euros :D

    All the best - Andrew

Are Music Direct and Gotta Have Music reputable? I actually see a few things between them that I'd be interested in getting (despite their prices) if these truly are new, sealed copies. Any feedback on them is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Dan

    Andrew,

Thanks for the tip. Also, I saw that a sealed copy of Pet Sounds sold on eBay this week for $62.55.

    Dan,

I've never ordered from Gotta Have Music, but Music Direct is perfectly legit. I've ordered music and cables from them and have never had a problem.

Andrew, I just sent an e-mail message to Audiomarketing to see if I can place an order. My Italian is very weak, and I did not see a way to order online.
