She took me to see "Blazing Saddles" in the movie theatre, when it came out... I was only 6....
She thought the first Deadpool was great!

This is equal parts horrifying and amazing. Great film, though.

My stepmother took me and my younger brother to see "Alien" theatrically in 1979.

I was 12 - he was four!

I'd be surprised if "D2" outsold the first movie. It's doing very nicely and has gotten good reviews from critics and viewers, but it still doesn't feel like a movie likely to outdo its predecessor.

I'd be really surprised if it cracked $1 billion WW. "Deadpool" is the highest-grossing WW "R" film of all-time, and obviously it didn't come close to $1b...

Parker (Yaphet Kotto) makes some naughty innuendo about what he'd like to eat, though! ;)

Apparently the experience traumatized my younger brother - which shouldn't be a shock. That movie unsettled adults, much less little kids!

To this day, I have no idea why my stepmother thought it was a good idea to bring a four-year-old.

I guess she didn't know much about the movie and thought it'd be in the "Star Wars" vein. You woulda thought the "R"-rating might've been a clue!

Oh well - it was the 70s! :D

Knock yourself out - she'd probably talk through the whole thing anyway.

The kid ( no not Charlie Chaplin) was a bit tiresome. Also, the taxi driver.

You lost me. I'm referring to the image of the blu-ray's above that JamieC posted with the Deadpool head as Wilson on the Cast Away cover.

Practically every 7-11 in my area is plastered with D2 promo stuff, even the wrappers they put your taquitos and pizza in.
