Denon mdab39 micro component system, speakers

Hello, I am not an audiophile but just a guy who loves to play his music on a decent system. I recently bought a Denon dm39 micro system which has I believe 30 watts per channel. I am getting a subwoofer for the system and have also thought about upgrading my speakers. Would the JBL ES20 speakers work better with this system or maybe Polk tsi100 speakers. Any suggestions would be helpful, thank you. Soup,
