Did I do OK? Cream DCC Gold "Wheels Of Fire"

Wow!

I finally got these discs in and gave them a few good spins.

"Deserted Cities Of The Heart" sounded like the house was ripping apart during that guitar solo.

I had the Mac putting out 400 watts/channel for a few brief seconds (don't try this at home with an A/V receiver, boys). Still sounded fantastic!

Steve, I'm amazed at the way you got the vocals to sound. Just right tonally and they "float" in the room above the music. I usually only get this on the best SACD releases, but you were doing something magical in the mastering room that day!

Listening to releases like this, it's as though you had my exact amp/speaker combo in mind when mastering the tracks. Easy on the ears, great dynamics, sounds even better LOUD!

I smile everytime I listen to this disc. Not only because it sounds so good, but also having lucked out and found the version with the hidden bonus tracks!!! Steve you rule!!!!
