It would be truly remarkable if it was, because in all these years I have never once heard anyone associated with the birth and origins of the disco genre ever mention it, as an influence or a record that they particularly liked or even listened to.

This thread deserves the same fate as my "Did Ringo invent hip-hop" thread.

    I actually like this album.

I do have a "Beatles Go Disco" album from the '70's, courtesy of our pals at Pickwick Records.

It has a whiff of 'aliens built the pyramids' if you know what I mean.

The gun shot at the end of Unknown Soldier prompted Berkowitz to target a Discotheque. The neighbor's dog just told me this.

If I was in your discotheque, I'd stay 'cause I'm a Doors fan who would be craving relief from all the disco music, but even more so to watch the disco dancers flee the dance floor in horror.

Ha, yes. I was also thinking of the "cultural" implications.

I thought "Land Ho!" was more like disco than Peace Frog.

If it was sung by the Bee Gees it might have been another Saturday Night Fever hit!:uhhuh:

Exactly. In the same way that prior to Yoko Ono, no one had ever conceived of imagining anything.

Think of what could have been created if The Doors had collaborated with Yoko Ono.
