I just read a couple of articles on both of these films in Millimeter magazine. I suppose after the Lucas (and to a slightly lesser extent Rodriquez) hype died down, I didn't think much about how much digital cinematography was being used. I'm sure the vast majority of films are still shot on 35mm, but more and more being shot digitally. I'm not sure if I could pick out the ones shot one way or the other. One interesting tidbit on the Superman film, was that Brian Singer actually contemplated using 65mm to shoot, even doing a screen test with the lead. He thought it looked stunning, but the cons outweighed the pros. Woulda been something to the handful of folks who could've actually seen a 70mm print.
