I thought I read somewhere that the 1994 remaster of this has some differences from the original LP and CD issues. Something about some songs extended or something. Is this true? I have the remaster, but not the originals to compare it to. Could anyone tell me if there are differences and what they are?

The song "Slave" is about a minute and a half (2 minutes?) longer on the Virgin CD compared to the original lp. I've never done a second by second comparison, but I THINK the original lp just fades earlier. It is possible that it is a different edit, maybe someone else here knows....

THe Virgin CD release was mastered by Bob Ludwig, I am not sure who did the Columbia issue

I believe Slave is edited differently. It encompasses all of the previously released version and then some.

As far as length of songs only Slave is different (4:58 & 6:32).

    I'm not sure about "remixes."

I think it sounds darn good, too. My original vinyl sounds a bit narrow compared to the remaster, particularly Waiting On A Friend.
