And I can only add that the orig. US CD (made in JPN.) is just AWESOME.

And, I got to see Beck live on the Blow By Blow tour--July 19, 1975, Q.E. Theatre, Vancouver. A geat nite.

  3. I saw Jeff Beck at the Greek Theatre (Los Angeles) after There and Back was released in, I think, 81 or 82. Jeff was really on it IMO. BUT the drummer REALLY kicked a$$ too. Any one know who he was?

    Regards
    Robert

"Blow By Blow" is fantastic! :righton: I like it just a little better than "Wired" (1975).

The 2000 release, "Who Else!" may be my next favorite Jeff Beck album.

    Probably Simon Phillips.

He is really good in the ARMS concert video (backing Jeff Beck).
I believe that concert was taped in 1983.

I think Simon Phillips drummed for the 89 Who tour - but he
was hidden behind an army of other musicians - including
    some percussionists...

I don't see Geoff's name anywhere. Denim Bridges is credited with engineering.

Looks like it to me too.

I wonder if Denim's sisters name would be Jean?

I once had a LP titled "The Secret Policeman's Other Ball". It's a charity gig chock-full o' all stars including Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Sting, Donovan, Phil Collins, Bob Geldof. Jeff Beck does a stunning version of Cause We've Ended As Lovers. He and Clapton team up on a song IIRC. IMHO, Jeff was smoking that night. He is truly an amazing guitarist.

As soon as I heard that 13th to the 9th chord on the intro of the fist song on side one of the LP I was hooked.

I was Jazzing out in Boston so I'm pretty sure this was about sometime in 1975 when I bought my LP and I still have it to this day.

However I might actually have this on CD some where. God I'd love to find it to hear it in my car.

Also ya just can't beat the original Becks "Truth" album it's just so freaking good with Rod singing!!!
