    Vinyl:
America's Folk Heritage - Various (6-record set on Murray Hill)
150 Songs, Ballads, Jigs and Reels of Ireland - Various (5-record set on Murray Hill with several complete albums by the Clancy Brothers and others squeezed onto one side each, with most sides running 30 minutes and over. Due in part to the acoustic texture of the music, the sound quality is pretty good.)
    CD:
Good Vibrations, The Pet Sounds Sessions, and The Smile Sessions - Beach Boys
    The Beat Generation - Various
    Unearthed - Johnny Cash
Clarke,Hicks and Nash Years - Hollies

I have many, but I'm only posting this one because I doubt if a lot of people here would have it:

    CHICAGO : Group Portrait

    The Columbia Years (1969-1980)

    Columbia ‎– C4K 47416, Legacy ‎– C4K 47416
    Mastering Engineer: Mark Wilder

    4-disc set - Volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4 in one long-box set
Considered by many as the best sounding Chicago compilation, it includes the best liner notes about the band's history. It is my go-to Chicago on CD's.

    Release Year: 1991

  18. "West Coast Seattle Boy"
Jimi Hendrix - West Coast Seattle Boy: The Jimi Hendrix Anthology
[available on CD & Vinyl for music only discs]
    Jimi Hendrix:

Disc 1. Wasn't as excited nor impressed w/this selection of pre-'Experience' cuts as many other Hendrix fans. However, a much needed/long awaited complete collection.
Disc 2, 3, & 4. The non-released tracks, songs & different takes, are priceless to many Hendrix fans. The various studio's studio cuts are fascinating to delve into too!!
The mastering of all was/is very acceptable in the time of the "LOUDness Wars".

DVD. Fail. Should have been the Blu-ray of this title that was released at the same time. OK doc.

Booklet & packaging is fine for a retrospective box set.

    Enjoy.

    Michael I LOVE WIDE S-T-E-R-E-O!

I have at least a dozen:
    Beatles-2 FAVS (own more)
    Dean Martin-4
    Flatt & Scruggs-3
    CCR-1
    Glen Miller-1
    Platters-1

  20. Mozart 225.

Every extant work by Mozart and so much more. The packaging and the books are excellent, plus so many alternate recordings. This is the cream of the crop.

It took me quite a while to rip all of the CDs for streaming.
