Really enjoyed the first side of your record. Those blue 45s look nice! Well I guess it plays at 33 1/3. The solo on "Love You All the Time" was as tasty as they get! Looking forward to side 2.
Here's the latest song from my band "Salinas" called "Forever More". Hope you like it: Forever More (By "Salinas")
Welcome to the new album from Conny Olivetti! This is the first album since "Fading Memories" that relies almost entirely on ambient, drone and noise. The inspiration comes from the Tunguska event, that occurred near the Stony Tunguska River, in Yeniseysk Governorate (now Krasnoyarsk Krai), Russia, on the morning of 30 June 1908. Here's a track I played drums on three or four years back, I came out of retirement briefly to do it. Quite proggy for those of you into that sort of thing.
You guys hit your stride early, looked like the middle of your set! Do you own your own lights or were they the venue's?
Thanks! The lights at the side of us and behind are ours (a pair of "Chauvet gigbar 2"s), there were some fixed to the ceiling pointing at us which belong to the pub.
Yes, good lights and a haze machine (allowed in more venues than a smoke machine!), all a good part of the show.
Yeah, unlike the rest of us, Anubis Gate is a serious band with a record contract! Metal fans should check them out...they’re really good.
I'm just finishing the mixing for my fourth album. This one's a single edit of one of the songs on the album.
New Christmas tune from The I Want You: "I Know What You Don't Want For Christmas (It's Me Right!?!?)" I Know What You Don't Want For Christmas (It's Me Right!?!?), by The I Want You
Super cool. The bass playing and bass tone on this is amazing! Congratulations on all the downloads sold.
The last time we did a thread like this, I posted this clip. It's from a live performance of the Mozart Requiem at the Church of the Intercession, Stevens Point, Wisconsin on Good Friday, March 29, 2013. This is the "Recordare" movement, and I'm the bass soloist.
Alex Filosa has all my finished albums alex-filosa has a sampling of my works in progress. You can hear stuff from my nearly, almost finished album, the following, not quite as finished album, and then the proceeding and definitely unfinished album.
You finished? I'm currently working on a double album...lots of long, funky jams, not unlike my last one, Too Much Fun (click on the Soundcloud link in my signature to hear that one). I've got the drum tracks prepared, some of the bass...but given my tight schedule these days I could have the project wrapped up this weekend or by the new year, not sure yet
In senior year high school, I took studio art. I'd start a painting, and then I'd be too impatient to wait for it to dry before adding more to it, so I'd start another. I wound up always having at least three pieces going at any given point. Now I have three albums (plus two EPs) in various states of undress. Digging "Let's Do It."
It used to be, I'd shut myself away in my home studio until the whole project was done...I don't have that luxury anymore, alas, especially not with only one day off a week! Hell, sometimes my wife has to light a fire under my asss: "Yer not doing any recording this weekend?" Thanks! That one's not bad but I prefer the more recent Me E.P. and Too Much Fun 'cos other than the drums I'm playing everything, it's not just sampled instruments
