I still like his older movies (Die Hard 1 to 3, Seven Monkeys, Fifth Element, Looper, ...) but the only thing I have seen him in since was the last Die Hard which was awful. Getting it little sick of his pouting expression I must admit.

Never liked him as an actor. Limited range, no depth, same types of roles over and over again.

I think he is a very good comedic actor, which is what he was known for at first. Even in his actions films, the ones that lean towards humor is where he is at his best.

  5. Pretty good actor with a strong screen presence. I enjoyed his part in Moonrise Kingdom - a nice change of pace.

Actually I think that Bruce is a great actor who's just in it for the money now,and that's sad.

He's OK I guess, no big whoop but I don't hate him either.

  9. Sure. I think he does an adequate job of acting.
He can make a role very enjoyable if the script is well written.

His acting career has been uneven but I still have great respect for him. He is a very versatile actor who can do comedy, drama and action movies.

You may notice that he is in a lot of DTV B-movies that show up on Netflix these days. Although he is prominently featured on the movie posters, these are typically glorified cameos. I believe his quote is $1 Million a day - so you pay him $3M and he will be on set for 3 days and no more. There's a whole group of actors that also have similar deals, at lower rates (but not much lower) - guys like Ving Rhames, Cuba Gooding, Nic Cage, Wesley Snipes, and now John Cusack. Most of these guys don't get offered big budget Hollywood movies anymore, but they are really taking in a ton of $$ on these foreign-financed movies that will pay their big $ daily quote to show up in places like Bulgaria for 4 or 5 days and make a couple million $ and so these low budget movies will feature these guys on the movie poster and have no problem selling off the international rights to distribute the movie. I'm still not sure how the film companies make any profit off of these - but it's a great business model for so called fallen stars to still make big money. I believe that Antonio Banderos has also recently joined this profitable club as well...

Willis (and Travolta) are kind of like Burt Reynolds was after his peak. They've got to look for strong supporting roles to rebuild their reps. Cage is another one who needs to stop going after lead roles.

I liked him in Die Hard. And yes, Die Hard was a Christmas movie.

I thought his finest role was in Beavis and Butt-Head Do America.

Seriously though, he was great in The Fifth Element.

He’s one of my favorites including his current movies. I loved Death Wish and Acts Of Violence from this year.

Think Willis best recently, has been Lucky Number Sleven, that was in 2006, even that was slight.

Older actors still got it? Robert De Niro ( maybe not) Al Pacino..enjoyed Danny Collins, he's approaching 80 and still has his acting chops, guess doing theatre helps. Playing a lawyer in Tarantino's next film.
