This isn't even a show that was on my radar until MeTV started showing it. I have to say that I quite like it. It's nice to see Bob Denver being a different kind of idiot on this show than he was playing Gilligan. ;) The other actors all do a fine job, too.

The last ep is a remake of the first ep. Not even Lost thought of that one :)

My only fear is that they're not going to put any time and money behind remastering the film elements, and it'll look like crap. This has happened a few times with Shout Factory releases in the past.

Agreed. Shout has good good taste in what they release but not always in how they release them.

Okay, three more memories (I loved TMLODG):

    "The Monster That Devoured Cleveland"
    "Poopsie"

ME-TV is currently running the series, but the quality varies from episode to episode .
Sometimes the show itself looks fine, then the closing credits look like a well worn 16mm print.
And they are really sped up.

I'm hoping to see this at 50% off somewhere! These box sets just are so damn costly, but they are pressed DVD and that's a boon!:agree:

heck, I picked up The Laurel and Hardy Box for $35.00 shipped last year during the Holidays.

  21. This show is where I first heard of Thelonious Monk. (Of course Maynard was a fan.)
