Does anyone have a digital-to-analog converter box hooked up to an older TV that has an analog tuner? What brand/model do you have and how do you like it?

    Thanks!

Yes, an Insignia NS-DXA1-APT. IIRC it's a re-branded LG/Zenith. It's hooked up to a 13 inch Sony TV via the A/V outputs. Works fine, although I don't use that TV much these days.

Yes. The Channel Master CM7000. It is a fine unit. IIRC, it had component, S-video, HDMI, as well as composite outputs. 2 channels of audio as well.

Are you looking for one? PM me if yes.

When Insight was our cable company they gave them away to subscribers.

get the cheapest one they all work...I've had a few different brands and none of them didn't deliver the channels...most important? the ANTENNA.

Yes. But since I am using an indoor antenna, it does not pull in many channels.
For some reason, using the tuner and the antenna both make a big difference in pulling in more channels.
I had bought several tuners and the zeinth, by far, worked the best
When you have an antenna on the roof of your house/apartment, you probably wouldn't notice a difference.

I am using both Zenith and Insignia, they are both the same, because I can use one's remote to control the other. I too have them hooked up to an old Sony TV. They worked better than a prior converter box I used.

I have the Zenith as well... it did the job when I needed it.
