Does anyone here own Paradigm Reference Active 40 Loudspeakers?

Hi all:<P>

I'm searching for a used pair of Paradigm Reference Active 40's to buy
in excellent condition. I'm well aware they have been discontinued. I've
looked on eBay on a regular basis but no luck. Sometimes Audiogon has
a pair for sale but they go real quick and at nearly full retail price. Anyway, please post if you have any leads on procuring a pair or if you have any
first hand experience owning these superb speakers.<p>

Welcome Aboard!! Glad to have you here.

We have four Paradigm Studio 40 Reference Speakers that are the same speaker without the active amplifier. They are great speakers. The
Actives were not in the budget at the time. You could probably buy a small monoblock for each speaker and get the same performance.
