"Hate" to hear is putting it strongly, but when Steven Wilson is digging into his bag of old Porcupine Tree treasures to play live, I feel like he could do a bit better than "Lazarus".

Feel The Who could do better than play "Join Together" most shows lately. I find the momentum of recent Stones shows brought to a halt by Midnite Rambler and Miss You---the latter a fine original record, a sodden bore live; the former they just try to stretch out the menace far beyond alas their interest as actual players these days.

Sorry Mode fans. "Just Can't Get Enough." I don't own the album, and the song isn't representative of the Depeche Mode I fell in love with. For me, I don't equate Vince Clarke with Depeche Mode and that type of songwriting. I start later with my fandom. I hate when they put it in the set list for a tour.

I love Prince, my all time fave artist, light years ahead of anyone else. I also like, enjoy, and generally appreciate “Take Me With U.”
Yet for some reason whenever he played live, if he broke into that one it bored me silly.

"Squeeze Box" and "Who Are You" are equally vapid IMO.

It was played on the tour supporting WOAD but not really since. Unlike "Waitin" which was played ad nauseum from 2002 thru the tour before last

I'm probably alone but I always wished Leonard Cohen would drop Closing Time from his sets: not one of his better songs, anyway, and a too-obvious pointer that he was nearing the end of the concert.

I have kind of a love/hate relationship with an artist's Big Hits.

Part of me looks forward to hearing them, then another part of me feels bad for the artist who must be a tired of it after performing it constantly -- in my opinion in tends to show. It rarely has a great deal of passion in it, especially if it's an older tune.

Can't think of a bigger buzzkill than when The Tap would go into "Jazz Odyssey".

When Rush was going through their comeback phase from 2002 on, I would always hit the bathroom or the beer tent when they would play "One Little Victory". One of the very few dreadful songs in their long history.

Grateful Dead - never cared for any of Brent's tunes live (though I do think he is a great keyboard player). Always a first set buzzkill.

Paul Mccartney - Let Me Roll It. A good song but I think he has performed it in every concert since 1993! Considering the other riches in his post Beatles career that he could pick, I wouldn't miss this song.

Especially when he gets a little kid to sing the chorus. It was cute the first 10 times. . .
