Just looking at a pile of LP cards and wondered if anyone out there keeps them for the artwork? Some of them look pretty cool, but I pitch mine in the trash.

Keeping mine... As I always do the stickers that come on albums.... Haven't use them though, because I'm not interested in MP3's....... Maybe if they were flac

I keep them just because they're part of the packaging; if you want to resell a record in the future, it's worth less without all the packaging.

But I don't use them - I let friends take pictures of them to download if they want. But I usually just do a vinyl rip for my personal digital copy.

I do that too....send pictures of the card to friends.

  8. You know you could give the codes to someone that likes the music and doesn't mind mp3's. I do that for my brother.

Not only do I not keep them, but I don’t use them.

I’ve given away every one to friends.

Yeah, same—I keep the cards, and whatever outer sleeve stickers, inside the LP cover after I open it.

I frequently don’t use the download cards either. A few I’ve tried ended up being more trouble than they were even worth.

Sure I keep them. I don't bother with the actually using them unless they are at least lossless. I got enough MP3 downloads from Amazon's Auto-Rip program. All my CDs are ripped to FLAC, so I have ample selection to put stuff on my phone for mobile listening.

I keep them and the hype stickers. .. try to keep all the packaging. I like having the complete package.

I redeem the codes if it’s the only digital version.

It depends. A lot of download cards are generic pieces of paper or card, giving no indication of which album or artist they are associated with, and bearing just the download code. Those go straight in the bin once I've used them.

The ones that identify the artist and the album, or display the album artwork, are the ones that I keep. The best ones that I have are the small laminates with the album artwork on one side and the download card on the other. Those look really cool.
