I was listening to the Dr. John MFSL Gumbo / In The Right place two-fer the other night for the first time in quite awhile. It was only available as an Ultradisc 2, but I do believe that this is one of the titles they got right. Good sound to these ears all the way through.
Just wondering if anyone has compared these to the original vinyl?
By the way someone can be heard coughing during the intro to "Right Place, Wrong Time" best heard through the headphones, the chatter right before the song "Somebody Changed The Lock" was (according to MFSL engineer Shawn Britton) a bit of tape just stuck on the end of the reel. He played it for his boss who suggested he stick it on the CD, so this is the only way to find it is on this MFSL version.
For me this is one of my "keeper" MFSL's.

John, I agree with you totally on this MFSL. Chaulk it up to one of the "good MFSL's". Sounds great!:D
