67-70 if for nothing else but the constant guest appearances of Burt Mustin

Dragnet is where I learned what hogtie means. It certainly made an impression on me. I believe the episode was in color.

I'm a fan of all three series. I first heard some of the radio episodes on an album I borrowed from the local library. That would have been 1977, or 1978. Then I got to see some of the first television effort, on a German television station, when a neighbor of ours put in a satellite dish. Maybe 1982, 1983? And then when we got cable, U.S.A. Network ran the entire second television series. The 1954 film is quite good, as well.

Had Jack Webb lived long enough to do the planned third series, in the early 1980s, it would have been interesting to see what kind of scripts they were coming up with.

You can listen to Big 22 For Christmas or watch the show. The same show was done in both mediums
